Violet L. Stover, 76, of Pomeroy, passed away, at 4:09 p.m. on Tuesday, February 21, 1017, in the Intensive Care Unit in the Cabell-Huntington Hospital, Huntington, West Virginia. Born April 7, 1940, in Meigs County, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Anne McKee. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her three daughters, Carol (Jimmy Miller) Stover, of Gallipolis, Margaret (Charles) Schoolcraft, of Vinton, Christine Stover, Gallipolis, five grandchildren, Jonathan McCarty, Jessica Lynn, Vicki Cacciatore, Randall Kiser Jr., and Tiffani Schoolcraft. Ten great-grandchildren, Autumn Cacciator, Summer Cacciatore, Willow Cacciatore, Jacob Barnes, Nicholas McCarty,Grayson Sutton, Ayden Sutton and one on the way, Avjah Lynn, Charles J. Lynn, Damien Michael, Abrum Kiser, Davyn Lane, one sister, Helen Partlow, of Meigs County, her former husband and father of her children, Elden Lee Stover, of Vinton, and several nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to her parents, a son John Lee Vansickle, two brothers, several sisters, and a grandson, Nathan McCarty.
