Ernest M. Shuler, 93, of Racine, passed away, at 3:45 p.m. on Monday, April 15, 2024 in the Overbrook Center, Middleport. Born December 16, 1930, in Letart Falls, he was the son of the late Coulter and Elsie Warner Shuler. He was the owner operator of Miller Homes, in Belpre, Ohio. He was a member of the Racine Methodist Church and he loved to play golf.
He is survived by her daughters, Margie Pierce, of Nelsonville, and Terri (Doug) Powell, of Letart Falls, sons, Stephen (Wanda) Shuler, of Letart Falls, Kenneth Shuler, of Racine, and David (Carla) Shuler, of Long Bottom, and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. A brother Lynn (Karen) Shuler, of Tuppers Plains, sisters-in-law, Shirley Simpson, and Lillian Hayman, and a host of nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Mary Shuler, daughter-in-law, Ruthie Shuler, a son-in-law, Bob Pierce, and a brother, Clarence Shuler.
Funeral services will be at the convenience of the family at a later time and date. Interment will be in the Letart Falls Cemetery. The Cremeens-King Funeral Home, is entrusted with the arrangements.
