Danny Ray Jones

Danny Ray Jones, 71, Jackson, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly at 3:24 A.M. Wednesday, May 19, 2021, in the Holzer Medical Center in Jackson. Born November 15, 1949 in Pineville, Kentucky he was the son of the late Caleb and Lula Mahan Jones. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brothers, H.C. Jones, Donnie Jones, Fred Jones and C.B. Jones and also by a sister, Eula Mayne. Danny loved spending time with his family and watching his grandchildren grow and play. Danny is survived by two children, Fred Ray (Jacqueline) Jones, of Grove City, Ohio and Danielle Leia (Jared) Jones-Carr, of Orient, Ohio, five grandchildren, Christopher Ray John (Whitney) Jones,  Derek Edward Jones, Caleb Daniel Jones, Jared Westin Carr and Landin Bradley Carr, six great-grandchildren, Addalee Jones, Rayden Jones, Jaxon Jones, Kaydee Jones, Maycee Jones and Rayden Jones. Also surviving is a brother, Clarence Jones, of Columbus, Ohio and two sisters, Beulah (Bob) Walker, of Orient, Ohio and Ruby Bailey, of Warren, Michigan and several nieces, nephews and host of other family members and friends. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, May 23, 2021, in the Croley Funeral Home, 103 South Second Street, Williamsburg, Kentucky. Officiating will be Rev. Jon Hensler. Interment will be in the Jones Family Cemtery on Harps Creek in Siler, Kentucky. Friends may call from 11:00 A.M. until the funeral hour on Sunday, May 23, 2021. Local arrangements are by the Cremeens-King Funeral Home, Gallipolis.
