Ellen Louise Cox, 87, Gallipolis, formerly of Dunbar, West Virginia passed away at 4:00 P.M. Friday, May 26, 2017, in the Holzer Medical Center. Born January 1, 1930 in Winfield, West Virginia she was the daughter of the late Herschel and Mimie Johnson Taylor. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Cox, sister, Alta Davis and brothers, Lonnie Taylor and Charles Taylor. Ellen is survived by her daughter, Brenda Bryant of Vinton, Ohio, son, David Cox of Dayton, Ohio, sister, Barbara Mundy of Dunbar, W. Va., brother, James Taylor of St. Albans, West Virginia, seven grandchildren, many great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
There will be a visitation from 2 - 4 P.M. Friday, June 2, 2017. at the Keller Funeral Home, 1236 Myers Avenue, Dunbar, West Virginia. Local services were entrusted to the Cremeens-King Funeral Chapel, Gallipolis.
