Verdon Helen O’Dell, 88, of Gallipolis, passed away, on Thursday, September 14, 2017 in the Holzer Senior Care Center, Bidwell. Born August 2, 1929 in Point Pleasant, Wv., she was the daughter of the late Perry and Eliza Mitchell Stutler. She retired from the Medical Plaza in Gallipolis and was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Robert E. O’Dell whom she married on February 2, 1951 in Gallipolis, a son, Robert J. 9Linda) O’Dell, of Jackson, Oh., two grandsons, Joey and Josh O’Dell, Both of Jackson. Nieces and nephews, Carolyn Fisher, Donna (Roger) Neal, Jim (Pat) O’Dell, Beth (Jeff) Fisher, and holly Stutler, a sister-in-law, Mary Stutler, of Point Pleasant, WV., and lifelong friends, Grace hawk, and Nona Woodward also survive.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a brother, Herman Stutler.
Graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family in the Mound Hill Cemetery with Pastor Bob Powell officiating. The Cremeens-King Funeral Home, Gallipolis is entrusted with the arrangements.
